Ms. Corinne Olintz

I am an English As a Second Language teacher at Nottingham elementary school. I love learning languages and cultures from around the world and am passionate about teaching children!

I began my career after graduating from Elon University in North Carolina as a social worker and worked with families in the mental health field.  I quickly learned that I had a talent and passion to work with children in a school setting.  I then went to Cabrini College where I earned a Masters in education and became a certified elementary teacher.  I taught 4th grade in Upper Darby School District for 14 years! This experience taught me about the many cultures and language needs that our children face in schools.  I returned to school and became certified as an ESL Program Specialist.   I came to Oxford Area School District in 2016 where I teach the English language in reading, writing, listening and speaking to our 3rd and 4th graders.  My dedication and love for our students drives me in my career and in all areas of my life!  Every year my students teach me more and more about their native language as I simultaneously teach them English!

I am excited to work with all of our children in all capacities and my goal is to help them grow academically, as well as members of our wonderful Oxford community!
