Kids for a Cure is a club for dedicated students who are interested in helping our school raise money for the fight against cancer. Many of us at Hopewell have been affected by cancer in one way or another, and we are hoping to one day find a cure for this awful disease. To raise funds for the American Cancer Society, Hopewell School holds a “Mini-Relay for Life" each year. This worthwhile event involves each class walking around the track for a scheduled period of time during the day. With Hopewell students walking continuously around the track, our “Mini-Relay” will mimic the larger Relay that will be in the Spring.
Our committee holds multiple fundraisers throughout the year which include our envelopes, soft pretzel sales, McDonald’s night, Rita’s night, Jeans Day Cards for Teachers, Pie a Teacher in the Face, and Kids for a Cure Bracelet Sales.
