Spanish Honor Society
The Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica recognizes student academic achievement in Spanish. The Spanish Honor Society is a national organization run by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portugese (AATSP) that meets monthly. After an application and grade verification process, qualified students will participate in events that will make the school community more aware of the various Hispanic cultures. Multiple service activities are sponsored by SHH that benefit local and foreign institutions. Students are also encouraged to utilize their Spanish in a fun and meaningful ways while corresponding with ePals from various Spanish speaking countries.
