I have been teaching at Oxford Area High School since 2011-12 academic school year. Prior to teaching at Oxford Area High School, I served as a LTS in the Unionville-Chadds Ford School District, Kennett Consolidated School District and Garnet Valley School District. I received my Teacher Certification in Secondary Education from West Chester University in 2009.
I received my MS in Biology from West Chester University and my undergraduate from the University of Pennsylvania. I worked at the University in the Department of Radiation Oncology as a research specialist. In this capacity, I performed various biochemical experiments which studied the effects of the Bowman-Birk protease inhibitor on the transformation of normal epithelial cells. Several research papers were co-authored as a result of this research.
I have three children and we live in West Chester on a small horse farm which I manage as a boarding facility. My hobbies include horse back riding, building various structures, vacationing and visiting family and friends.
