Kristina P. Stephen
I’ve lived in Oxford for 20 years, and I grew up in a small town in rural western New York State.
I graduated from Houghton College (now University) with a Bachelor of Arts in Writing and a minor in Psychology.
In addition to raising and educating my young children at home, then through cyber school, I helped my late husband run his plumbing business. When my two children entered the OASD, I also tutored both as a volunteer and professionally in and around Oxford.
Since 2012, I have been a licensed insurance producer. I currently work for an insurance agent’s office.
I just finished a 4-year term as a board member with the Parkesburg Point Youth Center.
I’ve been married to my husband, Matt, for five years. We’re blessed to now share four beautiful adult children together.
My joys are my family, my faith, and my horses. (I’ve been riding and teaching my whole adult life.)
My most recent personal expansion has been to achieve my certification as a Christian Life Coach, and I’m incorporating that with my love of horses.
My vision for Oxford schools is that they provide an excellent education through a safe and equitable learning environment for children from every walk and corner of life, where every child is given the opportunity to thrive and grow with the help of educators who see and help them realize their potential.
