OAHS College Athletics Signings

Four Oxford Area High School senior athletes recently signed national letters of commitment to participate in athletics at the collegiate level.

reese canaday

Reese Canaday will play field hocky at Liberty University and major in biology. She was named to the All Ches-Mont League Second Team in her sophomore and junior seasons and to the First Team as a senior, when she also earned team MVP honors.

gianna coyle

Gianna Coyle will play softball at East Stroudsburg University and major in criminal justice. She was named to the All Ches-Mont League First Team from her freshman to junior seasons, and to the Philadelphia Inquirer All-Area Second team as a sophomore and junior. Gianna earned team MVP honors in her freshman and junior years.

michael fazio

Michael Fazio will join the swim team at Towson University and major in computer science. He qualified for the district championships from his freshman to junior years, and earned a trip to the PIAA state championship meet as a junior, placing fourth in the 200-yard freestyle and 10th in the 100-yard freestyle.

abigail oconnor

Abigail O'Connor will play softball at the College of Central Florida. She was named to the All Ches-Mont Leauge Second Team as a freshman and the First Team as a sophomore and junior. Abigail earned Philadelphia Inquirer All-Area second team honors as a sophomore and All-Area honorable mention as a junior. She was named team MVP in her sophomore year.
