Good afternoon.

This is a message from Superintendent David Woods.

After consultation with the first responders and care providers working with the displaced people from the fire in Oxford Borough, I have determined that the Oxford Area School District will be on a normal school day and schedule Monday, September 18, 2023.

Many stakeholders have asked what they can do for the people displaced by the fire.  We have and will update our webpage to reflect the different venues for donations. 

Many District staff,  organizations from the Oxford community, first responders, Commonwealth, County and Federal entities have assisted or offered to assist in the relocation and normalization of our displaced students.  I very much appreciate all of the efforts made by the individuals and organizations.  We will continue to assist where needed in the weeks and months ahead.

Again, thank you for your patience and assistance over the last two days.

Después de consultar con los socorristas y proveedores de atención que trabajan con las personas desplazadas por el incendio en el distrito de Oxford, he determinado que el Distrito Escolar del Área de Oxford tendrá un día y horario escolar normal el lunes 18 de septiembre de 2023.
