    Informed Approach

Currently, we are in Phase 1A of Pennsylvania's vaccine rollout.

Oxford Area School District (OASD) is committed to making the soundest decision regarding reopening, and we strongly believe in making the decisions based on science. Our approach is comprehensive in nature. It is informed by what we see happening internationally and by national guidance, state guidance, and local decisions by the Chester County Department of Health.

OASD strives to safely return students to the physical schoolhouse as local conditions permit. The District uses several gating criteria recommended by the CCDoH experts to guide the decision-making related to reopening.

This webpage is designed to inform stakeholders of the plans for commencing the 2021 year reopening of our campuses. On this site, you can view the guiding documents that we considered in creating our reopening plan and familiarize yourself with the options for returning to school.
