Mr. Robinson and his wife, Janet, have five children, 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He enjoys spending time with family, especially their annual week together at the Outer Banks.
Mr. Robinson had had a background in dairy farming and dairy operation for many years. However, at present, he and his wife operate a beef cow/calf operation on their farm near Oxford.
Mr. Robinson graduated from Oxford Area High school; received his Bachelor of Science degree from East Tennessee State University and his Masters Equivalency from West Chester University. He taught eighth grade language arts at Oxford Intermediate School for 31 years.
Mr. Robinson is serving his third term on the Board of School Directors and is liaison to the Chester County Intermediate Unit Board of Directors as well as a member of the Chester County Authority Board. Locally, he serves on the Oxford Mainstreet, Inc. board; and is a director on the USDA Farm Service Agency. He attends the Christian Life Center in New London.
Mr. Robinson is on the PA Farm Bureau State Board of Directors and serves on their FARMER Committee. He has earned the PFB Membership Hall of Fame distinction.
At present, Mr. Robinson is actively involved in the Chester Delaware County Farm Bureau working with membership for 15 years, and is the county coordinator for the PA Ag Institute program. He is also a member of the Tennessee Farm Bureau and owns a small farm in that state.
Mr. Robinson is a member of the Russellville Grange #92 where he serves as chairman of the Agriculture Committee and reports monthly on agricultural issues at the Grange meetings. He represents Pomona Grange on the PA Department of Agriculture’s Fertilizer Committee.
Mr. Robinson and his wife received the 2015 Chester County Distinguished Service to Agriculture Award from the Chester County Commissioners and the Agricultural Development Council.
