OASD Summer Academies 2025
The Oxford Area School District again this year, will be offering free Summer Academies for district students. The Academies will be instructed in person and will include offerings in Music, Computer Science, STEM, and Young Authors. Please register using the link below. Academies will be open to students enrolled in grades 2 – 8, see the Academy listing for eligible grade level enrollment (based upon grade level in the 2024-2025 school year). Marvin the Colorful Monster
Congratulations to OASD's Mrs. Verikakis, who recently published a children's book Marvin the Colorful Monster!
Marvin, his family, and his school community can change colors based on the food they eat. He, his family, and his classmates eat unhealthy foods each day. Ms. Weatherbee, Marvin’s teacher, introduces the students to the food pyramid. She explains how monsters can trade in unhealthy foods and eat protein, fruits, vegetables, and dairy products and still be their favorite color. Will Marvin, his family, and friends embrace healthy foods?
