Degrees and Certifications:
Mrs. Laura Stoltzfus
I am an Oxford Area School District alum and graduated from Oxford Area High School in 2002. I attended Messiah College graduating in 2006 and began teaching at Nottingham Elementary School in 2007. I have spent the first 13 years of my career at Oxford teaching fourth grade. Recently I transferred to the Instructional Support Teacher position. Throughout my career I have been a member of the Nottingham School Safety Committee and the Building Leadership Team. I was the fourth grade representative on the district Math Committee. During the 2017-2018 school year I participated in a grant that worked with Math MTSS. As a part of the grant, I was trained in collecting data, interpreting data, and using data to determine interventions for math students. In addition to Math, I also worked with colleagues on compiling Social Studies materials. During my career I have mentored new teachers as well as college students participating in field experiences and student teaching.
