Teaching Experience

I have been teaching in the Oxford Area School District  since 1992.  I have spent the years: as a 6th grade teacher (math and science: 1992-2019), 5th and 6th grade Envirothon coach (since 1993), 6th grade field trip coordinator, 6th grade math department head and now the STEM teacher for both Hopewell and Nottingham Elementary Schools.

Personal Interests

My wife (a child and adult therapist) and I have two wonderful children and four precious grandchildren.  Our family includes two very active dogs (Samson and Zoe).  I enjoy running (20 marathons and counting), backpacking, hiking, camping, woodworking, singing in the church choir and reading (Science Fiction, Mystery and Fantasy).
