I am an Oxford native and grew up on Fifth Street where my mom still lives. I attended Jordan Bank, the original Hopewell, Nottingham, the Intermediate School (the new Hopewell), and the Oxford Area HS (now Penn's Grove).  I graduated from OAHS with high honors.  

I attended West Chester University, where I participated in the WCU Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band and an honorary service organization.  I received my Bachelors and Masters degrees plus my Reading Specialist Certification from this university.

I have been teaching 5th grade ELA/SS in the Oxford Area School District since 2000. Previously, I taught Kindergarten for four years in a nearby town.  I love visiting Disney World and Rehoboth Beach, DE!  I enjoy reading and baking.  My husband is a high school music teacher.  He and I live in northern Chester County with our cat, Etta and our dog, Rafi, whom we rescued from Kuwait.
