Welcome to Hopewell ESL!

My name is Mrs. Martin, and I have been in the district since 2011.  Before coming here, I spent many years teaching in Ann Arbor, Michigan.  I taught ESL there and also taught ESL in Massachusetts.

Traveling the world is my favorite thing to do. I lived in Germany for a year, and I also spent a year living in France. While in Europe, I traveled to many countries and experienced many different cultures and languages. I  also spent time in Bangkok, Thailand, where I taught American culture to Cambodian students.  My husband and I also took our four children to China.  My favorite place to go to will always be the shores of Lake Michigan.

I love the Spanish language, and have been to Mexico several times, as well as to Nicaragua and Spain. 

I love to be with my students every day, and enjoy discussing cultural differences.
