Hi everyone!

It will be so exciting to see you in class even if we can't be together.

6th graders, I miss all of you very much!

5th graders, I can't wait to meet you!

No matter how we are together, we will have a creative and fun experience in art.

Please just remember these few things:

* Please submit any assignments to Microsoft Teams.

* Follow all behavior guidelines as outlined by the school district.

* Attendance is recorded and calculated into your participation grade.

* Have a piece of paper and pencil ready.

* Have fun and be your creative selves.

About Me

Many years ago during my kindergarten graduation, students in my class recited short poems about our future aspirations. My poem shared that I wanted to be an artist. That early love of art has remained steadfast throughout my life, significantly shaping it's course. In 2004, I graduated from Millersville University with a degree in Art Education and received my Masters degree from the same university six years later in 2010. It was also my good fortune to take courses abroad in Great Britain, Ireland, and Spain studying art, theater, and education.

I have been teaching art to the 5th and 6th graders of Oxford Area School District since 2005. While doing so, I have had the privilege to work with thousands of students. We learn and create art of all types including drawing, painting, and clay making.

When I am not at school, I love to spend time with my family, horseback ride, just be outdoors in general.
