Mrs. Geating worked for Red Bull North America managing the Philadelphia, P.A. market before moving into education. Mrs. Geating moved to upstate N.Y. to pursue her Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from St. Lawrence University after earning a graduate assistant position there. While in school, Mrs. Geating taught a freshman seminar class at the State University of New York at Potsdam and helped manage a residence hall that consisted of 550 students and 18 staff members. She also worked in the Office of Education at St. Lawrence while obtaining her master's degree. Mrs. Geating started her secondary teaching career in Delaware County, teaching computers before she and her husband (Chris Custer, also a teacher) moved to Chester County, where she is from. She has a son, Nekoda, and twin daughters, Cordelia and Sloan. 

Mrs. Geating holds a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing and International Business with a minor in Spanish from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY. Additionally, Mrs. Geating holds Pennsylvania teaching certifications in business, computers, and information technology, library media specialist, and family and consumer science.

Mrs. Geating teaches Taking Care of Business and Financial Fitness at Oxford Area High School as well as manages Workplace Experience.
