Mrs. Susan McDonald

I have been teaching in the Oxford Area School District since the January 2019 school year. Before that, I taught for eight years at the Delaware County Intermediate Unit in Delaware County and eight years at Devereux Day School in Malvern, Pennsylvania. During my career, I have taught Special Education throughout my career from grades three up to twelfth. I currently teach learning support at Oxford Area High School which includes grades ninth through twelfth.

I graduated from Delaware County Community College in 2004 with an Associates of Arts with concentrations in Education. In 2007, I completed a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary and Special Education at Neumann College, in Aston, Pennsylvania. I have also earned a Master’s in Arts and a Reading Specialist Certificate from West Chester University.  Over the years, I have also completed numerous graduate courses on a variety of topics, such as English as a Second Language and Curriculum writing.
