Student of the Month
The Oxford Area High School Administration and Staff sponsor a Student of the Month award to recognize students who make a difference in our school and classrooms. Students in grades 9 through 11 are nominated by faculty members in designated departments on a monthly rotating basis.
Criteria and procedures for nominating students are listed below:
Criteria for Student of the Month:
Student demonstrates a real effort and desire to learn. (This does not mean that the student has reached honor roll status!)
Student demonstrates involvement in school life/activities.
Student demonstrates respect for all school policies and personnel
Student demonstrates real concern for the school community.
Student is actively involved in classroom activities.
Student demonstrates friendliness and support for other students.
Students will be recognized on the school website and through a school display. In addition, students will receive personal recognition of this honor.
