• Student of the Month
    The Oxford Area High School Administration and Staff sponsor a Student of the Month award to recognize students who make a difference in our school and classrooms. Students in grades 9 through 11 are nominated by faculty members in designated departments on a monthly rotating basis.

     

    Criteria and procedures for nominating students are listed below:
     
    Criteria for Student of the Month:
    • Student demonstrates a real effort and desire to learn. (This does not mean that the student has reached honor roll status!)
    • Student demonstrates involvement in school life/activities.
    • Student demonstrates respect for all school policies and personnel
    • Student demonstrates real concern for the school community.
    • Student is actively involved in classroom activities.
    • Student demonstrates friendliness and support for other students.
     
    Student Recognition:
    • Students will be recognized on the school website and through a school display.  In addition, students will receive personal recognition of this honor.
