Extended Learning/Summer School
OAHS is expanding its opportunities this summer for students who need compete courses for credit recovery. Credit recovery gives OAHS students who have failed a class an opportunity to retake a course through alternate means. The goal is for the students to earn the academic credit needed to meet graduation requirements.
A student has the option of retaking failed courses through three different credit recovery options this summer. Information regarding approved options can also be found on the high school website (www.oxfordasd.org). Below is information for your convenience.
Option OASD Summer Program Educere Brandywine Virtual Academy (BVA) Register online www.educere.net BVA Summer Program Cost - at family’s expense FREE $195-295 per credit, depending on the course $221 per credit + one-time registration fee $31 Dates June 21-July 29 (no classes July 5-9), 2021 Begins within 7 days after registration and payment rec’d for 60 days. June 1-July 29, 2021 Mode of instruction In person instruction at Penn’s Grove School from 8:30am-12:30pm. Classes will be 1 hour in length. Online; self-paced Online; self-paced Notes Bus transportation provided to students outside the PG walk zone or students may provide their own transportation. Breakfast and lunch will be available.
