I have been a classroom teacher for 12 years and have recently changed roles to become a reading specialist. I love to read and enjoy helping children to read.

I have a degree in elementary education. My master's degree is in differentiating instruction. I hold my reading specialist certificate, as well as an additional reading certificate that placed a heavy emphasis on reading workshop and all the necessary components to a balanced literacy block.

I live in the area with my husband and two little boys.
