Welcome to Elk Ridge Music! I'm glad you're here!

My name is Karlee Kurtz, and I have been the first and second grade music teacher at the Oxford Area School District since August of 2019. 

I am a graduate of the Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor's of Science in Music Education. My primary instrument is percussion, but I also enjoy playing guitar, piano, and ukulele. I am currently working towards earning my Master's in Music Education with a concentration in Orff-Schulwerk at West Chester University. As of July 2023, I am Level 2 Orff-Schulwerk certified. 

Being here at Elk Ridge is a dream come true! My goal is to make every student feel proud to use their singing voice and creative music-making skills.
