I have been teaching kindergarten and first grade in the Oxford Area School District since 2005, and am excited to be in a new role as the MTSS Specialist for Elk Ridge.  Prior to teaching in Oxford, I taught pre-school in the Garnet Valley School District, and first grade at St. Madeline/St. Rose School in Ridley Park, PA. I also worked as a children's librarian and library director at the public library in Norwood, PA. My husband John and I have lived in Nottingham since 1997. 

John and I have four children and now a grandson! Our oldest daughter, Lizzy lives in Nottingham with her husband Steve and son Quentin. She is a financial consultant for Edward Jones.  My son, Bobby lives in Wilmington, DE and works remotely in E-commerce. My daughter, Caroline, lives in Kennett Square and is a Physician Assistant at  Nemours Children's Hospital in the cancer department. My youngest daughter, Maddie lives in Philadelphia and is in her second year of Law School at Drexel University. All of our children are proud Oxford grads! When I am not enjoying time with my wonderful family, I love watching sports (especially the Philles, Eagles and Villanova Basketball), gardening and reading.

As the MTSS Specialist I work with the administration, teachers, staff and students in our building. Together we implement interventions to support and monitor students in the areas of academics and behaviors. Our goals are to help every student at Elk Ridge be successful in the classroom and beyond. I look forward to working with the students and families at Elk Ridge.
