After growing up on a farm near Parkesburg and graduating from the Octorara Area School District, I attended Millersville University to earn my degree in Elementary Education.  After my graduation from Millersville in 2001, I taught third grade at Manheim Township and then kindergarten in the state of Indiana.  I happily moved back to the area and began teaching kindergarten at Oxford in February of 2006.   I began teaching first grade in the fall of 2006 and have been loving it ever since.  I now live in Oxford with my husband and daughter.
