The English Language Development teacher works as a member of a multi-disciplinary team to advance students' reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. In addition, students in the ELD program will also build their academic, organizational, and social skills in a supportive environment. We design and implement an ELD program to meet the specific needs of each student. Our overarching goal is to ensure academic achievement for an English Language Learner so he/she continues to progress and be successful without encountering difficulty as a result of English language skills.
