Dear Parents/Guardians:
Elk Ridge enjoys recognizing and celebrating your child’s birthday. Due to many factors including the increasing food allergies, both known and unknown, and time constraints, Elk Ridge will no longer support birthday snacks in the classroom. Therefore eliminating outside or homemade snacks brought in to school for your child’s birthday.
Please understand that our students have snack time every day depending on their classroom schedule. Parents can still coordinate with the teacher to help provide the regular daily snack during the week. Finally, we will still recognize your child’s birthday but it will be in a different way.
