Mrs. Hannum

  Sara Hannum is a 2009 graduate of West Chester University.  During her time at the university, she focused on clarinet, piano, and voice. As a university student, Mrs. Hannum studied piano and clarinet and participated in a variety of ensembles, including the West Chester University Incomparable Golden Rams Marching Band, Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Symphonic Band, and Cantari Donne Select Women's Chorus.  In 2016, Mrs. Hannum graduated with an M.S. in Educational Development and Strategies from Wilkes University. 

     Upon graduation, Mrs. Hannum spent her first year teaching General Music and Chorus in the School District of Philadelphia.  She then moved to the Oxford Area School District in 2010 where she began teaching General Music and directing the three choral groups at Hopewell Elementary School.  In 2021, she moved to the High School where she began teaching piano, choir and music history.  Mrs. Hannum also works with the OAHS Marching Hornets Colorguard, co-directs the musicals and is a co-advisor for the Tri-M Music Honor Society.
