    Vocal Music Audition Rubric

    Audition Information: 

    • Membership in a current group does not guarantee membership for the following year.  Please take the time and effort to prepare your audition materials.  In the case of readmittance, auditions will be used to assign parts. 

    • Students auditioning must have the materials prepared as given.  Do not provide supplemental materials, or prepare alternative materials.  

    • You are responsible for the attached music, and a short example of your own choosing. 

    • The song of your choosing should be limited to a 30 second sample, or 16-32 measures. This can be alone or with accompaniment, but should not have any additional voices on your accompaniment.

    • You will be asked to listen and repeat 3-note melodies on a neutral syllable.
