Second Grade at Elk Ridge Elementary School

Here is a little bit about me:

My name is Mrs. Carie Michael.  I have been teaching since the year 2000.  I was born and raised on Long Island which is in New York.  I have two sisters and a brother.  I have 4 nieces and 3 nephews that I love to spoil!  I am married to Mr. Michael and we live in the City of Lancaster.  We used to go to high school together. Mr. Michael was in the U.S. Navy for 9 years, so we have lived in different places. Mr. Michael and I like to travel and watch a lot of sports.  My favorite teams are the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and I like to watch NASCAR.  (That's why our classroom is all decorated with Lightning McQueen, racecars, and checkered flags!!)  My favorite color is pink.  Mr. Michael and I took an amazing road trip this summer to Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Toronto, and Detroit!  What did YOU do this summer?  I can't wait to learn some things about you!
