• Here is a little bit about me:

    My name is Mrs. Carie Michael.  I have been teaching since the year 2000.  I was born and raised on Long Island which is in New York.  I have two sisters and a brother.  I have 4 nieces and 3 nephews that I love to spoil!  I am married to Mr. Michael and we live in the City of Lancaster.  We used to go to high school together. Mr. Michael was in the U.S. Navy for 9 years, so we have lived in different places. Mr. Michael and I like to travel and watch a lot of sports.  My favorite teams are the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and I like to watch NASCAR.  (That's why our classroom is all decorated with Lightning McQueen, racecars, and checkered flags!!)  My favorite color is pink.  Mr. Michael and I took an amazing road trip this summer to Buffalo, Niagara Falls, Toronto, and Detroit!  What did YOU do this summer?  I can't wait to learn some things about you!

    Favorite Disney character: Lightning McQueen

    Favorite animal: Groundhog, especially Punxsutawney Phil! (because my birthday is on Groundhog Day! February 2nd!)

    Favorite restaurants: Fiorentino's (Lancaster), Outback Steakhouse, Carrabba's, anywhere that gives me the night off from thinking about dinner!!

    Favorite places to shop: Kohl's, Old Navy, Boscov's, any mall!

    Favorite food: Mexican food that's not spicy and ICE CREAM!  

    Favorite drink: Coffee with skim milk and sugar

    Favorite US states: New York, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Montana

    Favorite sports teams: New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox

    Favorite local sports team: Lancaster Barnstormers (you can usually find me in Section 18!) 

    Favorite NASCAR drivers: Daniel Suarez, Ross Chastain, and Bubba Wallace

    Favorite movies: The Sound of Music, Monty Python, Elf

    Favorite TV shows: Will & Grace (my all-time fav, I have every season on DVD!!), Cooking shows, The Big Bang Theory, Court Cam, On Patrol:Live

    Favorite children's books: A Chair for my Mother and the Harry Potter series

    Favorite ice cream flavor: Mint Chocolate Chip

    Things I do in my spare time: Singing with the Lancaster Symphony Orchestra, jigsaw puzzles, watching TV, playing game on my phone
